Władysław Hasior was born on 14th of May 1928 in Nowy Sącz. He was a talented kid , that is why he went to the plastic school and finished artistic studies ( sculpture ). One of his first work was “The Monument for all Mountain Rescuers”. Władysław Hasior loved travelling, he visited France, Belgium, Holland and Italy. He was not a realist. Although he created his sculptures out of garbage, people still admired them. His gallery, The Gallery of the Modern Art in Zakopane, is still one of the most famous galleries in Zakopane.
