Dworzec Tatrzański

Dworzec Tatrzański has been a place of the meetings of Towarzystwo Tatrzańskie since 1881. At the very beginning it was a wooden house, but after two fires in 1900 and 1922, the new brick house was built. The new building , as one of the first ounces’, was designed in a Zakopane style. Not many people know that the TOPR has its head office in Dworzec Tatrzański. It was unquestionably a magic place, beloved by writers and artists from all over the Poland. Nowadays Dworzec Tatrzański is located on Krupówki 12 Street and is an office for PTTK and The Club of the Tatra Guides.
