Gubałówka is one of the most popular and frequently visited places in Zakopane, from where you can enjoy a beautiful and crystal-clear panorama of the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane. You can reach the top of the hill by the funicular, the bottom station of which is 823 m above sea level, whereas the upper station is located at the altitude of 1122 m above sea level. The funicular can carry approximately 2,000 people per hour, taking 120 people at a time, the average travel time is about 3,5 minutes.
Reaching Gubałówka is facilitated by the Butorowy Wierch chairlift which is less than 2 kilometers away from Krupówki Street. With these conveniences every man can reach the top of the hill (where beverage gardens, restaurants, bars and chilled drinks await) without an effort.
Here everyone can find something for himself/herself, with stalls full of folk products one can purchase any type of souvenir, eat all kinds of osypek or simply enjoy the view, that will long remain in memory.
Gubałówka is the perfect place for active leisure pursuers; in summer when you can enjoy hiking and biking and in winter as well (the time of the year associated with ski madness). The young visitors have a slide, a sandpit and a playground at their disposal.
For a reasonable fee, off-road cars lover may also go for a five minute ride on a wooden parquet. You can also rent bikes by the hour.
Everyone can use a ski service, ski rental, and ski school. Owing to the fact that the upper glade/ski slope is artificially snowed and lit the skiers can enjoy their time there until late into evening.
